Our story

In 2009 after graduating from the University of Maine Orono, where the couple met, they decided to move to Mount Washington Valley where Jakes family lived. For the first couple of summers, to help cut down on their grocery bill, the couple learned to garden and produced their own veggies. After a few seasons of gardening they decided that they should take the next step and start selling produce. In 2012 Sarah and Jake started attending a few local farmers markets selling the extra produce they harvested out of their gardens. Being that Jakes families land was not conducive for growing produce they decided to find better land and over the next few years helped grow produce for a few local farms. In 2016 an opportunity arose to lease productive farm land in the heart of Mount Washington Valley. Jake and Sarah continue to work this land today selling their produce at different outlets around the Valley as well as operating a CSA.
